Sleep Calculator is Recked Software's most popular utilitiy app. Pick a time when you'd like to wake up, and it'll calculate—using sleep cycles and some clever math—the ideal time you should go to sleep. Alternatively, pop the app open at bed time, and it'll suggest the best time to wake up the following morning.

My responsibility was to overhaul the look and feel of the app. With the new design came a new logo, three takes on which can be seen below. (We landed on the first one in the end.) The rest of the design followed from there: evening gradient in the background, a simple flow through the app, soft buttons and uncluttered interface. Lastly, I designed a small site to act as the app's online home.
